Animal Donut began one day when I brought a small tiger with me to a donut bakery in Seattle. I placed it on top of a donut and took a photo. I continue finding new ways to combine these disparate objects.

I love the people I meet through my photo shoots in donut shops from Seattle to Portland to Boston. People react with positivity and enthusiasm when they see me take these photos: they love the creativity and the imagination. Animal Donut exists because it has no practical purpose: it’s foolish & creative.

These photos show me how art is truly this experience you get when you connect with people through creative work.
